My name is Valérie Anex (she/her). I am a Swiss/Irish film director, film editor and artist born in Lausanne (CH) and living in Berlin (DE).

In 2011, I obtained a MA at the University of Arts and Design of Geneva (HEAD-Genève). My photographic work “Ghost Estates” received the Neumann price of the City of Geneva, was shown in many international photography collective exhibitions and published in various articles (New York Times Lens, Geo, The Huffington Post, The Irish Independent, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Architecture Today)

As an film editor, I worked for the national Swiss television (RTS) on TV magazines and documentary series, as well as on various independent documentaries, fictions, commercials and image films. In 2018 I graduated from Film University Babelsberg - Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg with a MA in film editing.

My latest projects include the co-writing of a series for Swiss National Television as well as the making of a short film "Thousands of Nights" released in 2025.
